The Launch Program
Structured counseling for the years when a lot is changing.
The Launch Program is developmental counseling for 6th-10th grade guys. It gives us a clear framework to work through the areas that matter most right now, while still being customized to the guy sitting in front of me.
45-minute sessions · $175/session

Why Launch
A structured place to work on what is shaping who he is becoming.
Some guys come in because confidence has taken a hit. Some are stuck in comparison, negative self-talk, anger, motivation, friendships, responsibility, or fear of failing. Others are doing pretty well and their parents simply want to invest intentionally during an important stretch of development.
The Launch Program gives us somewhere to start, a framework to follow, and enough flexibility to spend more time where a particular client actually needs it.
The framework
Ten areas we can work through.
The framework keeps us from only talking about whatever happened most recently. The emphasis changes based on the client, but every area connects to the bigger goal: helping him become more confident, capable, and prepared for what comes next.

Launch
What a session looks like
Conversational enough to feel natural. Structured enough to move something forward.
Check in
What happened this week? What feels stuck? What needs attention today?
Learn
A practical idea or skill tied to the focus of that session.
Apply
Connect it to his actual life, choices, relationships, school, sports, or home.
Practice
One concrete thing to try between sessions so the work leaves the counseling room.
Reflect
Pull together what stood out, what he learned about himself, and what comes next.

Customized
Same framework. Different guy.
The same program can look different for every guy who goes through it. We can spend more time on the areas that matter most, use examples that fit his world, and adjust the pace based on what is actually happening in his life.
School, sports, friendships, family, dating, gaming, work, leadership — the point is not to complete an assignment. It is to practice something useful in real life.
Parent partnership
You stay involved without sitting in the counseling room.
Parents need enough context to reinforce the work at home, while teens also need room to build ownership and have an appropriate level of privacy in counseling.
Launch is designed with both in mind. You get meaningful context around what we are working on, why it matters, what helps, and ways to keep the conversation going without turning the drive home into an interrogation.

The season matters
Middle school and early high school ask different questions.
Middle school: Identity, belonging, comparison, changing friendships, emotional intensity, confidence, and figuring out where he fits tend to become louder.
Early high school: Independence, responsibility, dating, driving, school pressure, sports, bigger choices, setbacks, and consequences begin asking more of him.
Launch gives us a developmental framework while still paying attention to the actual season he is in.
